For each created design PI Expert displays Bill of Materials (BOM). BOM collects the detailed information about design components (capacitors, diodes, resistors, etc.)
For each component BOM provides quantity, value and short description. For transformer you can open the Materials design form to view the list of materials referenced in Winding Instructions.
You can copy data from the BOM table to any text editor or MS Excel.
By using PI Expert Print menu you can print out the components details list
BOM can be exported to can be exported to MS Excel files ( .xls) or RTF (.rtf) file formats with the Export command from the File menu.
To open BOM click the BOM design window tab. In PI Expert Preferences on the Design Defaults tab you can specify start with the BOM tab when design is opened.
