Uploading BOM on the Web

Our close relationship with our distributors makes it easy for you to order parts from a variety of sources. Whether it's just a few, or a few thousand, you can choose the source that best meets your needs.

Before starting to work on the Web you need generate and save BOM in .XLS format for your current design.

Creating BOM

1. In PI Expert design window, select the BOM tab.

2. From the File menu select the Export... option. Save the exported file in .XLS format.

Working on the WEB

1. To start working on the Web, click the BOM Uploading for Customization per Distributor button . The Internet browser window will open.

2. In the browser window click the Start button and in the next window  click Browse to navigate to the BOM file saved on your computer and then click Upload.

3. After uploading you will see the BOM you have created into the browser window. Select one or few distributors you want to work with and click Build.

4. The milti-tab BOM will be recreated. Each tab will contain BOM created according to the certain distributor parts database.
