For each active design PI Expert provides Transformer Construction. This gives all the necessary information and specifications to build the transformer that has been designed.
To access Transformer Construction you can choose from the following options:
Click the Transformer Construction tab of the Design Results window,
Select Transformer Construction from the View menu.
The Transformer Construction consists of multiple sections:
Electrical diagram - provides the electrical scheme of the transformer.
Mechanical diagram - provides the mechanical drawing of the transformer. The drawing provides information on the winding order, the direction of windings, start and termination pins, and the number of parallel wires (filars) to be used for each winding.
Winding Instruction - contains step by step instructions for building the transformer.
Comments - contains any comments the software has on the transformer design in addition to any comments that you have added.
Materials - gives a complete list of materials that are needed to build the transformer.
Electrical Test Specifications - contains all test specifications for the transformer from the Requirements and Test form.
