icon in the output list indicates that some custom changes were made for an output. Click the icon to open Output Capacitors dialog box to revise the custom settings or restore the default values.Use the Output Capacitors form to review the output capacitors used in the current design. PI Expert selects the output capacitors when optimizing a design and ensures that the capacitor's ripple current and voltage rating meets the specification. PI Expert will also use multiple capacitors in parallel, if necessary, to meet the ripple specification for each output. You can replace the automatically chosen output capacitors on each output by selecting another capacitor type from the Capacitors Library. The main output is marked with the M symbol.
To edit an output capacitor parameters:
Select the output for that you want to change the capacitor and click Change to display the Output Capacitors dialog box. You can also double-click on the output row.
The Output Capacitors dialog box shows the number of parallel capacitors and allows to change the capacitor by accessing the Capacitors Library.
Click OK.
