Reflected Output Voltage

The reflected output Voltage VOR is the voltage across the primary winding when current is flowing through the secondary winding (during the off time of the primary switch).

 

Referring to the figure below,

 

Typically for TOPSwitch/TinySwitch designs the VOR is between 90 V and 135 V. A lower value of VOR  implies lesser peak voltage imposed on the TOPSwitch and a higher primary current.
