Notification 688 – RBIAS is not delivering sufficient current to the bias

Error

The Bias Linear Regulator Circuit might not deliver sufficient current to the Device for all conditions. If no enough charge is delivered to the BPP pin from the bias winding, the controller internally draws current from the Drain to the BPP pin by means of a high voltage liner regulator.

This results in high device losses and a reduced average efficiency. The additional losses are more pronounced at lower loads; nonetheless, the efficiency at higher loads is still affected.
