Warning

The calculated value of KP  is less than the recommended minimum value.

The initial current limit (I_INIT(MIN)) of the TinySwitch-II may trigger prematurely, limiting the power delivery capability of the design.

• Increase the size of TinySwitch-II device, or use a TOPSwitch family (See TOP232-234 and TOP242-250 Data Sheets) device.

• Increase the reflected output voltage (VOR).

• Increase the minimum AC input voltage (VACMIN) and/or increase the input capacitance (CIN).  This will produce a higher minimum input voltage (VMIN).

• Increase the overall efficiency (N) of the design, which will increase KP.
