Information

The resistor can prematurely fail due to excessive voltage strain.

• Select a resistor with a larger working voltage. For the under-voltage/overvoltage (UVOV) resistors this means two ¼ W resistors with a combined working voltage of approximately 375 VDC for a universal input design or a single ½ W resistor.

• Check the manufacturer’s datasheet for the rated working voltage of the resistors used.
