Warning

The total X-capacitor discharge resistance is too large to properly discharge the X-capacitor within one time constant.

This situation can pose a shock hazard to the user and can violate safety regulations.

• Select a total discharge resistance such that the x-capacitor will discharge to a safe voltage in a proper amount of time.

• See safety specification such as IEC 60950-1 section 2.1.1.7
