The estimated clamp voltage it too high and could result in a Drain voltage that exceeds the BVDSS (200 V) of the internal Switch of the PI device.

If the clamp voltage is too high, the clamp may not adequately protect the PI device from excessively high voltages that may cause device failure

• Verify the voltage on the drain node of a prototype using an oscilloscope.

• Reduce the target clamp voltage.

• Reduce VMAX
